After hitting a major milestone for BetweenTwoCovers, we wanted to take a step back and reflect on some of our favorite books since we began this journey a year and a half ago. A Gentleman in Moscow by Amor Towles – We both loved this tale about the most interesting man in the world… who is also confined to the walls of the famous Metropol Hotel during the Bolshevik Revolution. No surprise that we hold our first ever review in high regard! (Review here)

The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid – Evelyn Hugo is the epitome of a Hollywood golden girl from the 1950s through the 1980s. Find out about all her ambition, friendships and secrets in this faux-tell all novel. Reid has become one of our favorite authors, and her latest Daisy Jones & the Six nearly made this list as well. My Lovely Wife by Samantha Downing – Couples who kill together, stay together, right? This is your book of the summer. Kick off your sandals, relax in the sun and enjoy this fast-paced thriller full of lies and deception. (Review here)

The Great Alone by Kristin Hannah – We can’t have a top book list without one of the best historical fiction authors out there. Hannah does it again with this moving novel following the Albright family as they survive the harsh Alaskian winters and embrace their new community. (Review here)

Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens – Kristin Hannah better watch out as Owens’ first novel was a massive success. Kya (better known among the locals as Marsh Girl) is full of resolve and resourcefulness, and the reader can’t help but fall in love with her. (Review here)
