Louisa Clark is back and takes on New York City in the third novel of the Me Before You series. While at first I was concerned this book would not live up to the previous two, it surpassed my expectations and reminded me how much I love Louisa Clark.
If you’ve read the first two novels in the triology, you’ve already gotten to know Louisa – she is quirky, kind and incredibly loveable. In Still Me, Louisa experiences Manhattan’s wealthy elite. She reconnects with old friends, meets new ones and discovers herself in the Big Apple.
As a New Yorker, I loved following Louisa’s explorations of the city. From Harlem to Central Park to Soho, she explored familiar territory in her quirky Louisa way. She carries her memories of Will with her, following in some of his footsteps while also forging her own path. It is fun, funny, witty, charming, heart-warming and heart wrenching all at the same time. I flew through this read, unable to put it down!
If you haven’t started this series yet, highly recommend you pick up Me Before You (and then see the movie), ASAP!
